Notes From Cheryl (5/17/05)

Today was Day One of Springfest 2005 on the Lima campus. I could hardly concentrate in Human Nutrition because all I could hear was the band playing out in the yard. After class, I went outside to where all the action was. Wild 93.9 was out in the yard, different clubs were selling different things, a Red Bull truck was out there giving out free drinks. I met up with some friends and we played corn toss and monkey bar golf and watched Matt and Jerod in the chicken wing eating contest. They lost, but they didn't care. They got a free lunch! Haha.

Later this evening, I went to visit my Grandpa's sister, Mary Ann, to interview her for my Oral History project for my Honors History class. She had some really interesting stories to tell so I think I'll have a good project to turn in. She gave me some really cool pictures.
